Talker

In a world where language holds absolute magic, "Talkers" are gifted individuals who can converse with any object or target to freely wield its power. Their mortal enemies are "Rumors"—dark language users who materialize lies and illusions to plunge the world into chaos. Priscilla is revered as a legendary hero among the Talkers. But her world is entirely shattered when she discovers a horrifying truth: her young son, Leon, possesses the aptitude to become a Rumor. To save her son from becoming a monster, Priscilla abandons all her wealth, status, and honor. She flees with Leon to a hidden, remote village that holds the one and only method known to exist that can convert a Rumor's dark aptitude into the righteous power of a Talker.
