A woman awakens as a squirrel spirit beast whose touch can calm dangerous mana rampages. Hoping to absorb enough mana to become human, she secretly approaches a lonely boy destined to become a villain. She heals his unstable power, drives away abusive servants with well-aimed acorns, and comforts him—only to transform into a human in the most awkward place possible: his bed.
