Game director Kim Jin-woo was suddenly summoned to the otherworldly realm of Arsilan. After living a fierce life, he reached the pinnacle of magic to become an Archmage, but Arsilan is on the verge of total annihilation due to a destructive force known as 'Erosion'. As an Earthling, Jin-woo is the only one immune to the Erosion. However, even with his power, fighting off countless enemies alone in the short span of three years is impossible. "I just want to lay everything down and rest now." The moment he gave up everything and emptied his mind, he awakened as a Transcendent. Gaining the absolute authority known as the 'Gate of Souls,' Jin-woo can now freely travel back and forth to Earth. With this new power, he devises a genius survival strategy: use the gate to summon Earthlings—who are also immune to the Erosion—and trick them into fighting the apocalypse by making them think Arsilan is just a hyper-realistic game. The grand 'Arsilan Saga Project' begins now!
