After possessing Archel, the eldest daughter of Count Leire, a young woman becomes head of the family following her parents’ deaths. To protect herself and her little brother from relatives circling their inheritance, she proposes a practical marriage to Gael von Zenat, the feared guardian of the eastern sea and secret leader of a pirate family.
