Leonia Borreoti finds herself in an unfamiliar world and her only chance of survival is by being adopted by the male lead, Duke Pelio Borreoti, the Beast of the North. Pelio Borreoti's impulsive decision to adopt an orphan girl flips the entire duchy upside down. She possesses the same dark powers that are within him. Not only does he make her his daughter, he even bestows her the name of “Beast”—a name only the direct descendants of the family are allowed to receive. A found family story featuring an alpha-male father, his worldly daughter with rather mature preferences, and a stepmother who harbors a mysterious secret.
