“You possess true skill. Your environment was simply holding you back.” Alto, a young appraiser who was forced to work like a slave in the aristocracy-driven Kingdom of Dramd, has his life turned upside down when he is scouted by Beralt, a soldier from the enemy nation, the Glaus Empire. In this completely meritocratic country, Alto’s off-the-charts appraisal talent is discovered, and he’s suddenly nominated to be an executive candidate in the military! Immediately after joining, Alto has great expectations placed on him by the military executives, a group of powerful individuals. Yet, the people he chooses to ally with are only hopeless dropouts facing desperate situations… This is an exhilarating rise-to-power fantasy where Alto uncovers the hidden talents of his comrades and carves out a new destiny!
