Ash, a young Captain in the Imperial Knights, lived a charmed life. With a prestigious career and an engagement to a noblewoman, his future was smooth sailing and envied by all. But one day, it all came crashing down. His engagement was annulled, and he was unceremoniously expelled from the order. Sick of it all, Ash abandons the Empire for a new frontier: the Kingdom of Rosebell. In this land, which thrives on the power of Dungeons even more than the Empire, Ash restarts his life as a Hunter. With his overwhelming strength, he quickly begins to make a name for himself. Meanwhile, Ulca, a junior knight who adores him, leaves the Empire to chase after him. The curtain rises on a story of reversal, where a man paints over his "gray" life with glory!
